And to get things started in the Video gallery Christmas special is a song that caused uproar last year….The Pogues - Fairytale of New York. Lat Year for the first time the BBC said they they was not to edit the word ‘faggott’ from the song like they have done since the release in 1987. This song never got christmas number 1 in 1987….but re-entered the UK singles charts last year and got highest chart position of number 4 in Christmas week. Below is their Top of the pops performance. 

Next the man needs no introduction… he got Christmas number 1 in 1986 with this…its Shakey!!!!! 

Going back now from 1986 to 1975… and Mud was at their highest… believe it or not Mud had their big break thanks to……. Basil Brush!!!! Lonely this christmas got christmas number 1 in 1975.

Now the year is 1984… and it puzzles us all here at dalebamber.co.uk. If george Michael is so eaten up by his ex why does he go on holiday with her and Andrew Ridgley… to a Ski resort … nowhere to run .. nowhere to hide … and luckily for Georges case … nowhere to drive either!!!!!
