The Dale Bamber Show - American Idol Special - Sunday 31st May 2010
American Idol came to an end in May 2010. The American Idol Talk has been one of the most successful on air features ever on The Dale Bamber Show. Dale saluted the end of the season by playing all top 10 finalists. Dale also played some of the best idols from the past and Dale also had a fond farewell to Simon Cowell.
“The show has been following American Idol for the whole of season 9 and I believe that this special extended edition of The American Idol talk was a fitting tribute to one of the most successful on air features of all time on The Dale Bamber Show”

The Dale Bamber Show - 3rd Anniversary Special - Sunday 18th April 2010
On 18th April 2010, The Dale Bamber Show celebrated its 3rd anniversary since the launch. Dale dug up 3 years of archive material to compile the best moments of the show so far.
“Wow. If you asked me in 2007 if I would still be hosting the show in 2010 I would have said no. Yet here we are! Was it hard to put this show together? Yes! Trying to get permission off other radio shows to broadcast stuff proved hard and also securing presenters for the night was hard as well because of the time of year. Everything on the night went brilliant though…oh except for the phonelines!”

The Dale Bamber Show - Party Special - Sunday 8th November 2009
The Dale Bamber had 2 big reasons to celebrate on 8th November…firstly it was the 50th edition of the pop music archive show and secondly…the day after it was Dale’s 20th birthday!
“It was good to celebrate 2 big events together! Everything just worked that show! Plus it was nice to get some old voices back on the show!”

The show that Dale dreaded…however after 3 years of trial broadcasting Ribble Valley radio closed its doors for the final time on 14th October 2007. Dale got to host the last ever show on the station that included interviews with 97% of the presenters…past and present.
“It was gutting at the time. It was one of the hardest shows to host…because how do you say goodbye to something you are so passionate about?”

The Dale Bamber Show - Girls Aloud Heaven - Sunday 27th August 2007
Probably the biggest risk Dale ever did however Dale hosted his first 6 hour edition of the show…and every single track was dedicated to Girls Aloud!
“It was a big risk at the time…no other radio presenter had done anything like this…however it got great coverage on the official Girls Aloud website so it paid off…what people didnt know was that I nearly pulled the show hours before as I thought it was a rediculous idea…then I looked on the girl’s website!”
Sadly no footage of this spectacular show exists!
