Katy Perry shot to fame with her song ‘I kissed a girl’ and has since had massive success here in the UK. Now with Hot N Cold released and in the top 5 and a tour which im going on heres more about the gorgeous singer.

We all thought she would be a 1 hit wounder but it looks like she is here to stay!

She stormed the UK charts back in 2008 with her controversal single “I kissed a Girl” where it claimed the top spot for 5 weeks. Rumours had it that her parents fell out with her for singing the song “I kissed a girl” despite the fact it got her recognition around the globe, however have since made up with her!

Her latest single “Hot N’ Cold” hit the top 5 of the charts in September 2008 (despite the fact the release of the song wasnt until 24th November) and this song proved that she was no 1 hit wounder!

Her album “one of the boys” wasn’t a number 1 here however still contained controversial songs like “Ur so Gay” which was released in America…and no one knows if it is to released in the UK yet.

Katy Perry’s Tour 2009

Katy is on tour in 2009…not a big arena tour a small tour in 2 locations…London KOKO (26th February 2009) and Manchester Academy (25th February 2009). Im going to see her at Mancester Academy and there will be ba full review of the concert on here in February.
