About pages that are no longer updated

“We’re no longer updating this page” - What does this mean?

We aim to make sure that all of the pages we publish on dalebamber.co.uk are as accurate, reliable and as useful as possible. Where a particular radio show/station or TV show has ended, band have spilt/artist has ended their career or that a general page wont be updated anymore we generally leave the related web page online, just in case visitors may find it helpful or interesting in future. However, in order to avoid confusion we add a banner notice to the page to make it clear that we’re no longer keeping these pages up to date. We leave these pages online for reference purposes only, and you should be aware that the information provided may be out of date or otherwise inaccurate due to the passage of time.

Why don’t you just delete these pages when the page is no longer needed?

Our view is that these pages often contain a lot of information about the programme or event which may be of interest in the future. We don’t want to delete pages which users may have bookmarked or linked to in other ways. This also means that if a radio/TV show or artist returns, we can update the content of the page and remove the banner notice very quickly.

When do you delete pages from dalebamber.co.uk? In general our policy is only to remove pages where the information provided has become so outdated that it may lead to actual harm or damage.

Meet The Team

dalebamber.co.uk is part of The Dale Bamber Show productions. The team is created through a team of 4 members.

 Dale Bamber

Dale owns The Dale Bamber Show Productions, is the producer and presenter of long running music show The Dale Bamber Show and funds the website dalebamber.co.uk. Originally the website started off as an archive website about Dale, Girls Aloud and Top of the pops but with the birth of The Dale Bamber Show the website has turned into a syndicate website for the show and an entertainment site! Dale maintains the website and updates it on a regular basis.

 Heather Horrocks

Heather Horrocks started off her role for The Dale Bamber Show Productions as the new co-presenter for The Dale Bamber Show in April 2010. Heather recently graduated from university with a degree in journalism. With this in mind Heather has become the very first news reader for The Dale Bamber Show and has also taken over from the previous jornalist for dalebamber.co.uk Leanne and will have her own column on the website, which will be a spin off from Dale’s world…called Heather’s World. Heather will be writing about the latest news and her views. Dale first met Heather through ‘Radio Hospitals Blackburn’ where they both presented a request show together as a one off. After just one hour Dale asked Heather to join The Dale Bamber Show Productions and Heather immediatly jumped at the chance.

Mark Wilkinson

Mark Wilkinson, part of the original dalebamber.co.uk web team, created the site. It was one of his first sites he created and since then started his own buisness called Equal Design. Check out his website Equal Design. He is the official Wordpress consultant for the UK. Check out his official blog as well Penny4Them

Cheryl Gerhard

Cheryl designs the graphics for dalebamber.co.uk…the main one being the official dalebamber.co.uk banner and logo…and I am soooooo jealous of that photo! Wish it was me next to Cheryl Cole! Since writing for dalebamber.co.uk, Cheryl has been designing myspace layouts for fan sites like The Saturdays German fan club and Misha Williams fan site…and speaking of Misha The official myspace of Misha Williams has asked Cheryl to design the main graphics for the official myspace. Misha supported Girls Aloud on their Greatest hits tour back in 2007. Check out the official Misha Williams website here…still talking of Misha she even meantioned our Cheryl in a recent interview: I absolutely love making an impact on my listeners. After I performed at Wembley Arena in London on the Girls Aloud Greatest Hits Tour, I had the opportunity to get to know one of my greatest fans! Her name is Cheryl, and she came all the way from Germany to see 2 concerts on the tour! She contacted me through Myspace and started an awesome Myspace Fan Club site for me…and even created really cool graphics! I sent Cheryl some signed photos and contacted her to thank her for being such an awesome fan! I try to keep in touch with her as much as I can! For the rest of the interview click here
