Alexandra Burke - All Night Long Tour 2011

Alexandra Burke brought her All Night Long tour to Blackpool Opera House on Monday 7th February 2011.

However was she any good? Well after her support acts…anyone would have looked good! In general though from a personal opinion it took her a while to get into the swing of things.

She started off by singing Broken Heels (slightly out of tune) followed by Nothing but the girl and Dumb. All 3 songs were off key and got distracted by members of the audience waving at her. However she did redeem herselves by singing Start without you. The first song she sung in tune and well in my opinion. The 2 songs to follow perfect and overcome were note perfect as well.

Now every concert isnt complete without covers. Alexandra covered Ne-Yo’s Closer…and in my opinion was 100% better than the original but I suppose the old saying goes….The original is always the best…and by saying this I mean her debut single, Hallelujah.  The pyro-technics and her vocals really made this song!

2 more songs from her debut album Overcome, Good night Good morning and Dangerous.

Then 4 more covers…all to Alexandra’s idol…Beyonce. Although if I was Beyonce after listening to those covers…I’d be crying. They were awful! The 4 songs were Survivor, Bootylicious, Listen and Independant woman

The final song was another power ballad called The Silence. It was impressive but sadly she never hit that final note.

Overall…this review might sound negative but she was good live…just couldnt hit some of the high notes.
